Sonic Bloom is one of the yearly festivals that always delivers on all fronts.
The biggest allures of the festival that is not often mentioned or talked when discussing festivals are the community surrounding the event. Colorado is one of the meccas in the world for music. Considering the Sonic Bloom isn’t something new and has a nationally recognizable brand, it attracts some of the biggest artist names and community leaders. This isn’t some freshman or sophomore year festival, it’s a staple event known across States.
The thing that we all can’t deny and have to mention is that the musical lineup this year is absolutely stellar and never disappoints. Traditionally, I always focus on the music but there’s so much more added every year. There’s a whole 3-day academy opportunity to sign up for and learn from some of the most talented individuals in their craft. There’s even a Permaculture Action Day planned! Check out the creative lineup for all the world-class art installations, VJ’s, performance artist, visual artist, and yoga/movement workshops.
I’ve unfortunately missed the past few events despite being a regular for numerous years. Truly thrilled to finally make it back out to this event and connect with the Colorado family. Be sure to say hi if you see me out there. As mentioned earlier, the thing that really makes this event special to me is being around all the people and peers in Colorado. The locals are so spoiled with all the talent that goes through the area that an event at this level demands and always delivers pure excellence. If there’s one yearly main event that everything builds up to, it’s Sonic Bloom!
