Duffrey self-releases “Booted” on his bandcamp on September 25th, 2015 – it’s a four-track EP composed of a bunch of remixes of classic songs such as “Give Me One Reason” by Tracy Chapman, “Roads” by Portishead, “Slow Wind” by R.Kelly, and “The Boy is Mine” by Brandy and Monica. Fusing funky, glitchy, squishy, bass-fueled soundscapes, Woody reveals depth like never before.  Intertwined within them are smooth R&B feels and lyrical intentions, a tasty and moving groove to fill your emotive highs hats, crescendos, snare sparks, sporadic vocalizations, scintillating beats, and organic vibes.  Shredding on the daily, this young producer is turning heads.

Duffrey is an electronic music producer with a unsatisfiable hunger for brain tickling soundscapes and funky bass. Woody Klann, a Oakland based drummer and musician from a young age, has been squeezing sounds from his environment since he can remember. His style is heavily influenced by a chilled-out west coast bass flavor introduced to him during his time spent in the NW and California.  Duffrey’s goal is to convert brainwaves into vibrational energy that takes control of your body and leaves you with a tingly sensation. From the grimest of glitch to a feel good mash-up, Duffrey keeps it interesting, fresh, and is ready to shred at all times.  Duffrey is a Street Ritual label and agency artist, be sure to catch him at a city near you!
