Soulular | Satellite EP

time October 15th by Taradactyl authorTags: , ,

I love me some soulful melodic bass music. Soulular’s Satellite EP is the perfect thing to satisfy my cravings for it. Laced with gorgeous textures and harmonies, the album is a solid downtempo release through and through. I hadn’t heard of this guy until just recently and I’m certainly stoked that I found out about him. His style is magically concurrent with mine. I have to say that lately I have been somewhat disappointed by everyone’s shift to this super bouncy trap shit that, no matter how hard I try, I cannot genuinely enjoy. Soulular reminds me that there are still people who care about their music sounding truly beautiful. The album is sprinkled with exquisite vocals and percussion. My favorite has to be “Lovers” which has a hint of funk, infused with ambient vibes and a touch of gangsta vocals. Soulular’s sense of rhythm is right on point…. each song ebbs and flows flawlessly! This is music that I can really appreciate. Get the album on Beatport here. He will also be rereleasing Satellite through my friend Jesse’s label Gravitas Recordings… October 24 through Beatport and November 7 through all other retailers. Check this out; I really can’t imagine anyone not enjoying this EP!
